    Enrollment now open for 2021-22

    New student enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year will begin on Monday, May 24, 2021. Please visit the New student enrollment webpage and follow the steps to begin the process.

    Currently enrolled Newport-Mesa Unified School District students do not need to complete the enrollment process. The yearly registration process for currently enrolled students will open in the summer.

    For current students whose address has changed, please follow the steps under the verification of residency portion of the student enrollment webpage.

    Cloud Campus Students - Return of Materials

    All Cloud Campus Students must return their materials (except Chromebook) to their home school.  This applies to ALL Cloud students, whether you are returning to your home school or remaining with the Cloud Campus for the upcoming 2021-22 school year.

    Dates: June 7 through June 11 only

    Time: Between 9:00 AM and 1:45 PM. You must use the driveway entrance on Ridge Park Rd to access the parking lot. The Loop Road will be closed during these hours.

    Location to return materials: School Office. Please bring materials in a bag with your student name and "Cloud Campus" written on the outside.

    Our district launched a Support and Care Line for NMUSD parents and students to get information and support for technology, mental health, student meal service, Distance Learning and instruction, enrollment and student records.     About US

    Newport Coast Elementary School opened its doors on February 26, 2001 with 318 students and we currently have over 500 students for the 2019-20 school year.  The curriculum is based upon National, Common Core Standards decided upon by the State of California and the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.  The staff and community are especially proud of the recognition received by the California Department of Education as a 2018 California Distinguished School and a 2018 Exemplary Arts School.  We are also recognized as a California PBIS Platinum School.

    Excellence in a caring environment and student learning continues to be the focus for all decision making. The mission of our school is to see that all students learn at high levels.
