On August 1st, the Newport Sunrise Rotary Club will be holding its annual charity fundraiser, Lobsterfest, and the Newport-Mesa Schools Foundation is the lead beneficiary. A donation of 10% of all ticket sales will be made to the Foundation.
The Newport-Mesa Schools Foundation distributes grants every year that buy books, curriculum, teaching supplies, computers, video equipment, musical instruments, and science equipment for NMUSD classrooms.
